Tooling Capabilities
Our ability to produce most tooling completely in house at YMI can dramatically reduce lead times for new parts, and makes for quick repairs of damaged or worn tooling to keep your production lines running smoothly. We have Wire EDM and VMC capabilities that allow us much more flexibility and accuracy to meet your critical requirements. 

EDM
Our submersible wire EDM (Electrical Discharge Machine) is capable of cutting up to 10" thick in any conductive material with cut sizes up to 15.5" (in the Y axis) x 23.5" (in the X axis).

VMC
Our Haas VMC (Vertical Machining Center) has a 20" x 40" cutting range with full 3D capabilities that allow us to create a wide variety of tooling for formed parts.

We also have a full range of general Tool room equipment to fit your needs including:

7 - Lathes to 16" swing
